Garland Chamber of Commerce
Aptitude: FAME only recruits students with an intrinsic
understanding of all things technical. They’re not
potential doctors, lawyers, historians, or sociologists.
They’re the engineers, innovators, and inventors of
tomorrow’s workforce.
Attitude: FAME recruits come from vocational
programs within Garland and Mesquite school
districts. As such, they’ve been immersed in the
principles of dependability and strong work ethic.
The FAME program enhances those qualities by
teaching workplace safety, lean manufacturing,
problem solving, and teamwork skills. Moreover, during
the two-year program, students integrate completely
with the their employer’s environment and culture.
The best of the best: Not every person who joins
the Navy can become a Navy Seal. So too, not every
technically minded student quali昀椀es for the FAME
program. The ones who do are the elite. They’ve proven
they have the grit, determination, and work ethic to
become the tamers of automation technology. They’re
the ones who become lifetime contributors to the
success of forward-thinking manufacturers like you!
The future of manufacturing technology is already
here.. Contact Michele Bennett with the Garland
Chamber of Commerce today and discover how
Dallas FAME can provide an unstoppable workforce
capable of meeting tomorrow’s challenges today.
