Letter From the DCMA Chairman
As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dallas County
Manufacturers’ Association (DCMA), I’m proud to re昀氀ect on
how far we’ve come, and even more excited about where we’re
headed.
When the DCMA was founded in 2006, our mission was clear: to
bring manufacturers together to strengthen our industry through
collaboration, advocacy and workforce development. Two decades
later, that mission remains at the heart of everything we do. We’ve
built an incredible network of companies, large and small, working
side by side to share ideas, shape policy, and prepare the next
generation of skilled professionals.
Today, manufacturing in Dallas County is more innovative,
more connected, and more essential than ever. From advanced
automation and Industry 4.0 technology to data-driven production and sustainable practices, our members
are leading the way in shaping the future of American manufacturing. Through partnerships with Dallas
College, Garland ISD, Workforce Solutions, and the Texas FAME program, we’re creating real pathways for
students and workers to build lasting, high-wage careers in our 昀椀eld.
But DCMA’s strength isn’t just in its programs, it’s in its people. It’s the relationships, the willingness to share
best practices, and the commitment to solving challenges together that make our community so powerful.
Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are just learning about DCMA for the 昀椀rst time, you’re
part of a movement that believes in building something bigger than any one company.
As we look to the next 20 years, our focus is clear:
• Empower our workforce through training and education.
• Advocate for our industry at every level of government.
• Foster innovation and collaboration among local manufacturers.
Together, we’re building the future of Dallas County manufacturing.
Thank you for being part of this journey. I invite you to stay connected, get involved, and continue shaping
what’s next for our industry.
In partnership and progress,
Roscoe Davis
