Dallas College’s School of Manufacturing & Industrial
Technology (MIT) is leading the charge in developing
a highly skilled, adaptable workforce through a range
of high-impact certi昀椀cation programs designed
to skill, re-skill, and up-skill Texans for in-demand
careers in the manufacturing, logistics and supply
chain sectors.
Stackable Credentials with Credit Pathways
Students can enter into Level I Certi昀椀cate programs
with clear, stackable pathways that allow for
continued academic progression while gaining
job-ready skills. Certi昀椀cate o昀昀erings related to
manufacturing include:
• Electronics Technology Level I Certi昀椀cate
• Industrial Automation Level I Certi昀椀cate
• Mechatronics Technology Level I Certi昀椀cate
A new credential is being developed to train Industry
4.0 Operators and will launch in Spring 2026. This
new “micro-credential” will provide training for entrylevel operators.
These programs are delivered at key Dallas College
campuses and community-embedded workforce
centers, including:
• Garland Center: Industrial Automation,
Mechatronics, Electronics Technology
• RedBird Center: Industrial Automation,
Mechatronics, and Logistics
• East昀椀eld Campus: Mechatronics
• Lancaster Center: Mechatronics, Electronics
Technology
• Pleasant Grove Center: Industry 4.0 Operators
• West Dallas Center: Industry 4.0 Operators
